I am a native of New York, schooled in New Jersey and Georgia Southern University, where I was editor of the school newspaper and yearbook. Journalism had become my minor, as I worked toward a B.S. degree in Education. Shortly after college, along with teaching, I did feature writing for the local newspaper in Brunswick, Georgia. I always knew
that I had a calling to write a book, not knowing that it would |
| My first inspiration to actually begin a manuscript was, when I was continuing my college education. A classmate brought her newly published book to class about her personal journey in recovery. In May of 1997, I published my self-help book entitled, "A Leaf Falls...A Bud Blossoms." I have had signings with major book stores and published in their review sections in monthly bulletins. I was a guest on a local radio show here in South Florida. I have toured the New York, New Jersey areas doing booksignings, in addition to appearing on the cover of Outcry Magazine, including a book review. |

As part of my recovering process, I have learned to help others with their
journeys, volunteering with Hospice; the local hospitals; and serving as a facilitator for
Senior Support Groups. professionally, I am a Certified Hypnotherapist with the
state of Florida.
Anyone, who realizes that they could have low self-esteem, feels empty within, has
problems in relationships, personally or at the work site, will benefit from the
words I journal and share in my book. Recognizing that we are codependent is the first
step and learning to understand ourselves and the difficulties of overcoming codependency,
is our lifelong goal.
